One of the delicacies of life is chocolate, obtained from Theobroma cacao (cocoa). So sweet and delicious. I know we can all relate to that feeling when that warm brown mass melts on our tongue and floods our sense of taste with pleasurable goodness. And, the warm feeling you experience when you rub shea butter on your skin or hair is unexplainable, unforgettable and unbeatable.
Chocolate, though very sweet and shea butter, though very useful, melt when subjected to high temperatures.
Are you a chocolate soldier? Very sweet and addictive yet melt and get sticky and disgusting when you undergo a little hardship in life?
Trust me, you don’t wanna move from ‘yummy’ to ‘yucky’. That’s not a good or pleasant place to be.
Are you a Shea butter soldier? Though you beautify people, earn the praise of men, cannot bear a little criticism or lambasting?
God needs soldiers who can stand the test of time. Not those whose worth diminish when faced with an obstacle.
He has promised He will not let you be tested beyond your ability. Has He ever promised and failed?
You may be going through tough times, yes, but with God on your side you can stand the test of time.
He is watching you, waiting and hinting for you to reach out. Your help is just at the corner. Your victory – the refrigerator- is so close.
Do not compromise. Do not faint. Do not be weary. Your love for him should not wax cold.

Reach out whether you have been used and disposed of or you’re about to be used and disposed of.
Job, upon all odds – the pains, dejection, loneliness, poverty,hunger and thirst, illnesses and diseases- stayed faithful to the Lord, his creator. I doubt any of us has gone through half the sorrow and anguish he experienced.
Hold on, dear one.
He is not too busy to hear your heart cry, sweetheart. Just call on him. He will freeze you anew. He will harden you anew. He will make you Newer, Better, Brighter, Stronger than ever.
